I miss them too. I like the two shows but it's not really Disney.

I know! I use to look forward to seeing whats on the Disney channel now all I think when looking at it is... "Where's all the good cartoons!? " I don't watch the Disney channel anymore because of it... but I have seen a lot of it this term in college because of my annoying roommate watching it a lot and other people in the dorm halls watching it in the lounge room... my god... I hate the Disney channel now. They have the most stupidest shows ever now. I was surprised and appalled that so many people of my age watched that shit. They wouldn't know a good cartoon or tv show even if it bit them in the ass. =__=
Ok I'm being a bit harsh but still... such bad bad.. bad taste.

So true. This is a beautiful stamp showing how good TV used to be on both Disney channels. Even Toon Disney's pretty much dead. Now it's "Disney XD". Ick.

I refuse to address that channel by "Disney" now, it's not Disney at all. :/ Boy, I bet Walt Disney is turning in his grave.

They've almost completely lost sight of their legacy: "It all started with a mouse." Of course, the parks are still really cool. Heck, they still sell actual Disney stuff and very little of that new crap all those preteens and kids love so much. I was kinda shocked at how little it affected the parks (at least at Dinsey World anyways).

If it weren't for Mickey, there wouldn't even BE a Disney!! What's the excuse for not giving those characters more edge than just Kingdom Hearts? "It's not appropriate for kids!" It just seems like they're just throwing lousy shows and movies just to make a quick buck! Disney Channel sucks, Disney XD sucks, Playhouse Disney's just for babies, the only thing that I've seen the company do real justice to the characters in modern times is Kingdom Hearts, and Goofy's new cartoon in 2008.

We were able to show more passive cartoons to our generation fifty, sixty years ago, and they didn't do any harm to US!! The only thing that makes this era any different are picky parents, lack of effort in projects, and critics!

Enough with the pop culture already! If they keep neglecting Mickey and classic cartoons like this, I swear the fans are gonna rise against them eventually...
